PROTEC STANGER

Sappi sponsored PROTEC Stanger, a programme for Technological Careers, established in Kwa-Dukuza in 1998. The programme helps to encourage underprivileged learners to pursue careers in science, mathematics and technology and prepares them for highly skilled jobs in areas of key industry demand. It also lays emphasis on the need to improve literacy and numeracy including skills relevant to the workplace before embarking on employment.
